What is the Jonesboro Youth City Council?

Jonesboro Youth City Government (JYCG) is a youth-led organization composed of a Youth Mayor, Youth City Manager, six Youth Council Members, Directors of Communications, Events, and Community Service, a Secretary, two Finance members, and additional youth committee members.

Our mission is to amplify the voices of Jonesboro’s youth by fostering leadership, civic responsibility, and community involvement. Through social, educational, cultural, and recreational initiatives, JYCG empowers young leaders to create positive change and strengthen connections within the community.
