Youth Mayor Mason White

 Mason White serves as the Youth Mayor of the Jonesboro Youth City Government (JYCG), where he is committed to representing young people, strengthening civic engagement, and creating meaningful opportunities for youth leadership and service.

A returning member of JYCG, Mason has grown through leadership roles within the organization and now serves as the youth voice of Jonesboro. As Youth Mayor, he works alongside the Youth City Council, City Manager, advisors, city officials, and community partners to advance the mission of JYCG and ensure young people have a meaningful voice in their community.

Mason is passionate about civic engagement, government, leadership, community service, education, and youth empowerment. He believes young people should not have to wait until adulthood to make a difference.

Outside of JYCG, Mason is a student at Morrow High School and is involved in student leadership and career-focused programs. He also enjoys photography, traveling, and shopping.

As Youth Mayor, Mason's vision is to build a JYCG that is engaged, inclusive, service-driven, and focused on developing the next generation of leaders. 

He looks forward to expanding service opportunities, strengthening youth participation in local government, and making the 2026–2027 year a meaningful year of leadership, service, and civic engagement.
