Meet the City Manager

My name is Lillian Heard, and I am a rising senior at Morrow High School. I care about leadership, community involvement, and helping others succeed. My hobbies include running, wrestling, writing, playing guitar, and serving my community.

I am also the founder and president of Disciples Purpose, a faith-based club, and Speech and Debate, where I encourage students to build their confidence, leadership, and communication skills.

In the future, I want to pursue a career where I can lead, stay organized, and make a positive impact in people’s lives while continuing to serve my community. I joined JYCG (Jonesboro Youth City Government) because I am passionate about local government, youth leadership, and creating positive change. I want to learn more about civic leadership and help ensure that young people’s voices are heard while supporting others in achieving their own version of success.
